David Richards

Writes and edits the software comparisons on Reserchers, and is responsible for their accuracy.

David Richards edits Reserchers and writes most of what appears on it. His focus is the unglamorous middle of the small-business software market: the estimating, scheduling, routing, CRM, and lead-handling tools that a landscaping or field-service company ends up running its week on.

His working method is the one described in the editorial policy. Claims start from primary vendor documentation rather than roundups, every price and plan name carries the date it was checked, and a page says plainly when something could not be confirmed. He does not describe desk research as a product test, and no comparison on this site claims hands-on testing that did not happen.

Corrections reach him directly. If a price has moved, a plan has been renamed, or a comparison reads as unfair to a product, send the vendor's own documentation and the page will be updated and dated.
